How to get to HLT?

HLT is centrally located in the heart of Oslo at St. Olavs gate 24, just a few minutes’ walk from one of the city’s main public transport hubs, Nationaltheatret.

The easiest option is to take the train from Gardermoen. Vy trains R12, RE11, and RE10 from Oslo Airport stop at Nationaltheatret. Tickets can easily be purchased at the airport, in the Entur app or the Vy app, or in advance at vy.no. The price is NOK 129 (EUR 10.95).

In addition to Vy, you can also take the Airport Express Train (Flytoget), lines F1 and F2, which offers more frequent departures from Oslo Airport to Nationaltheatret. Tickets can be purchased at flytog.no or in the Flytoget app. The price is NOK 258.

Public transport ticket: You can download the Entur app or the RuterBillett app and easy buy tickets on your phone. Using an app is the easiest way to purchase tickets. With the Entur app, you can buy tickets for both trains (Vy) and buses, trams, and the metro (Ruter) in the same app, and get your entire travel route in one place. It’s also possible to buy a travel card with tickets, or a multi-ride card/flexible travel credit at kiosks.

If you cannot purchase a ticket before your journey, you can buy single tickets on board buses and ferries. You must pay cash, and notes over 200 kroner are not accepted.

It is not possible to purchase tickets on trams or metro trains. You must either buy a ticket in advance or use a payment card with “pay-as-you-go” during travel, without additional fees.
